This past weekend, we shot the most adorable wedding at The Stable at Bluemont Vineyard. I was so excited to finally meet Allison and Matt in person! These two are the kind of people who make everyone around them feel welcome and at home with them…and that was apparent to me even through email and grainy Skype chats! Despite meeting them both for the first time on their wedding day, they both made us feel like old friends. I knew from chatting with Allison that their wedding was going to be fun and very well thought out, and I wasn’t disappointed! Everything was so pretty and so very them. I loved every minute of shooting this one, and I know you’ll love scrolling through my favorites and getting a peek into their day!

Such a sweet and emotional moment! Allison’s sorority has a tradition where each bride passes the garter to the next girl getting married…the sorority sister who gave it to Allison passed away not too long ago.

Right before the end of the night, guests were invited to grab a few hot donuts as a late night treat/favor! I’m so happy that donuts are a thing at weddings now!
