During the spring I posted a list of things I loved that were making my life feel more like a life and less cray cray, so I thought it might be time to share another edition with you guys! 1. Polar FT4 Heart Rate Monitor. I will admit I’ve had this for a while. I got it sometime during the spring, but I really only used it a few times during my more sporadic workouts. I’ve been using it a lot more as I’ve been training for my half marathon (which is a scary six weeks away) and I really love it! It’s actually really motivated me to work out more because I can see exactly how many calories I’ve burned…which for me turns out to be substantially more than I thought I burned based on what treadmill/exercise machine data told me. I also have been mindful of my heart rate while I’m running and able to keep track of the time easier than if I had to pull my phone out every five minutes to see how much longer til I need to turn around and head back home. I believe the FT4 is made specifically for females, so if you’re a man, I would suggest checking out the Polar FT7, which is a similar model.

2. Candles! Tis the season for open windows and scented candles. I don’t know what it is about lighting a candle that makes everything seem so much more cozy. Maybe it’s the element of fire?? Who knows! At any rate, there’s nothing I love more this time of year than sitting in my office with the windows open burning a favorite candle and singing along to Spotify. Maybe I love pumpkin scones and apple whiskey cider more. Maybe. My two favorite candles in rotation right now are the ever popular Leaves from Bath and Body Works, and the apple scent from Ikea.

3. Qdoba. I literally tried Qdoba for the first time kind of recently and I am in love! I’m a huge fan of Chipotle…but I’m also a huge fan of this amazing melted cheese goodness they call QUESO. Qdoba bridges the gap between the great tasting Chiptole and the meh tasting Moe’s (to me at least) and gives cheese lovers another option. But seriously, how great would it be if Chipotle just offered queso and nachos?? They literally have all of the ingredients already! I would spend so much more of my hard earned money there than I already do:)

4. Candy Crush Saga. I can’t help it!! I’ve been totally and completely sucked in by this game! I will admit that I’ve actually spent real money to clear a couple of the levels. It’s bad. I don’t know why this game is so much fun, but it’s the perfect mindless distraction when I just need to think about absolutely nothing for five minutes…or however long it takes me to blow through my five lives trying to complete a level. HA.

5. New Girl. I just recently started watching on Netflix and I’m super obsessed. I can’t believe I didn’t start watching this show sooner! It’s so funny and John likes it too, which is a bonus.

6. Chobani Flip Nutty for Nana. This is my FAVORITE Chobani flavor of all time. Hands down. It’s a banana yogurt with almonds and dark chocolate chips you can mix in. It’s almost like a healthier, not frozen version of Ben and Jerry’s Chunky Monkey. I have been eating these up by the crate! They are so good and it’s yogurt, so it doesn’t count as a cheat, right??

7. Warby Parker glasses. My first order from WP was a pair of the ZAGG frames! I’m loving them, but what I REALLY loved was how easy and convenient the whole Warby Parker experience was! They send you five pairs that you choose for an at home try on, then you have a few days to decide. Once you order the glasses, (which are a steal at only $95 including prescription lenses) they come SO FAST!! I got mine about a week after ordering them and that was with me taking two extra days to send over my prescription (so fail, on my part. But win on WP’s). These glasses light up my life!

Bonus — This Video. I usually don’t watch viral videos, but for some reason this one caught my eye and took up ten minutes of my day yesterday…ten minutes I will gladly never get back. This is one of the most fun things I’ve seen on the internet in a while and you won’t regret checking it out!
