It’s April! I’m so excited that today’s forecast looks like it should actually feel spring like! Unfortunately it seems like after today the temperatures are going to be unseasonably cool again:( I’m not too happy about that…I’m ready for warm weather! Who’s with me??

Over the weekend I got some work done and managed to get in some family time yesterday! Saturday I met up with one of my September brides, then had chili pie at Proper Pie co in Richmond with a friend. It was so good! I have been thinking about that pie since my last bite! Later that afternoon I shot an engagement session at the New Kent Winery! Chrissy and Davis were a lot of fun to hang out with! More from their session will be on the blog later this week, but for now here’s a peek at what’s to come!

Sunday morning I woke up to an Easter basket! John and I have this kind of random, silly tradition where we give each other gifts that are “from” our cat, Lucy. This year she gave me candy and a pillow pet and gave John a muscle mag and a new Eat This, Not That book! So thoughtful for a cat:) I really love that we have these traditions and to be honest they make me really excited for that time in our lives when we will be ready to start a family…I know it will be so much fun to start new traditions with a couple of little Nesbitts:) Don’t judge us for being so obsessed with our cat!!

Tonight I’m excited to watch the Voice! We don’t normally watch singing shows, but we are addicted to the Voice!! My thing about this season is, why would you choose any coach BESIDES Usher?? Usher took one of the top selling artists of the last few years (Justin Bieber) from relative obscurity and made him into a franchise…Like he has his own PERFUME.

Lastly, I just realized today is April Fool’s day….so I have to think up a good prank to play on John before he gets home tonight:) Any suggestions?
