Charlottesville Wedding Sneak Peeks (and more!)

Weddings

October 23, 2017

Oh, October. Although it doesn’t quite feel like Fall outside, you can definitely feel the Fall vibes here in my office! Fall is the busiest time of year for me (second only to Spring and Early Summer), so I’ve been spending a ton of time shooting and even more time at my computer working on some exciting things!!

Here are a few previews of some things you can look forward to seeing here on the blog very soon!!

Catherine and Kevin’s Panorama Farms was a favorite of mine!! They’re such a pair of sweethearts…and I loved how they included so many personal touches througout their wedding day!

Lisette and Graham’s engagement session at the Capitol and Maymont was a treat!! I don’t shoot a lot of sessions in brighter part of the day, but look how beautiful and sunkissed these photos are! I’m also planning a blog post talking about how to photograph a session in harsher sunlight with great results, so stay tuned for that 🙂

For Karen and Dave’s engagement session, we were treated to a tour of their venue (a historic riverboat!!) before we began. John and I had so much fun chatting with the two of them and exploring Old Town Alexandria together!

Last night I had the honor of working with a photographer friend, Sarah and her fiance Chris at their engagement session at the Boar’s Head Inn!!! I can’t even tell you how excited I am for their wedding in a couple of weeks!

To add to all of the shooting and behind the scenese work I’ve been doing lately, I’ve also been preparing for my THIRD half marathon, which I’m running with a friend who is a first-time half marathon-er! I don’t know why I always think it’s a great idea to add training for a race to a busy season for my business, but I’m excited!! If you’ll be in the Richmond area on November 11th you should come cheer us on!

I hope that your week has started out great so far!! I’m off to finalize some edits and get an album design out to one of our Fall clients today!!
