When my friends Mark and Jerri told us they were expecting their first baby this fall, John and I were so excited for them! I was also really excited because Jerri and I had been talking about planning her baby shower since before they were even pregnant! I hosted one baby shower before and I was really excited to throw another one…especially one for two of our favorite people!

The theme for the shower was a casual outdoor bbq with an organic orange and teal color palette. Jerri and I are very similar in that we aren’t huge fans of the traditional baby blue and baby pink. I’m nowhere near pregnant, but I’m really obsessed with gender neutral baby stuff! Jerri and Mark’s kitchen has somewhat of a southwestern feel and their office is painted orange, so the teal and orange theme fit them very well! Throughout the process I learned that throwing a baby shower is really a labor of love (haha no pun intended) but I’m really glad that I had the chance to put this together for them, because we love both of them very much and can’t wait to meet baby Vance!
