I’m so excited to finally be sharing a brand new wedding with you today! Like so many engaged couples this year, Giovanna and Sy made the tough decision to move their spring wedding to the fall. I was worried that it could potentially get moved again, but Giovanna and Sy made it happen! After a ton of reschedules for the year, I was so happy to finally get back behind my camera at their big day this past September.

Giovanna and Sy chose to have their wedding ceremony outdoors at the beautiful Historic Tuckahoe, which is right outside of Richmond. I really love this venue because of all of the little nooks and crannies around the property. It’s incredibly well maintained and has so many locations that are perfect for portraits! Giovanna’s sister (who was one of my previous brides) had her engagement photos taken at Historic Tuckahoe years ago, which made it all the more special to return for Giovanna and Sy’s ceremony.

Following the ceremony we all returned to the Hilton Short Pump where friends and family enjoyed dinner, toasts and games. It was so amazing to see how many people came to celebrate Giovanna and Sy! They are just the sweetest couple, which you can tell by how their friends and family all talked about them both.
