I have had the hardest time deciding what to write here to introduce Allie and Greta’s wedding day…normally I write a little something about the day or about the couple, but I honestly don’t even know where to begin with Allie and Greta or their amazing wedding day! Shooting their wedding was a little bit like shooting what I imagine my “dream wedding” to be. They had thoughtful details that were meaningful to them (everything Chesapeake and Maryland!), GORGEOUS overcast light (my favorite to shoot in), and there were not one, but TWO stunning brides for me to photograph. More importantly, there wasn’t a second of the day that I didn’t feel an almost overwhelming sense of love. From Allie telling us she was shaking right as she got into her dress to the crowd of friends and family surrounding the dance floor during the first dance, all of them literally smiling from ear to ear supporting these two, there was not a moment that wasn’t filled with joy. There were so many little things that happened that made my heart burst with joy and reaffirmed why I love what I do! I only hope that these images can do the day justice:)
